H5P historical records

H5P authoring, package upload, playback, and trial delivery have been removed. New content containing display.h5p is rejected. This page describes retained data; it is not an authoring guide.

Existing data

The removal did not delete or migrate existing H5P database records, stored files, or learner-history envelopes. Historical learner records remain readable and exportable. Retaining an uploaded file or history record does not make its activity launchable.

H5P previously operated as a trial display inside learning or assessment units, rather than as a separate session type. Its event and scoring metadata belong to the historical runtime that collected them. Preserve the collection revision and original package when interpreting those records; do not apply current card or SPARC behavior retroactively.

Maintenance

Use Data Output for current download permissions and columns. Verify the exported fields actually present in an older dataset before treating historical H5P metadata as a current TSV column. The shared history envelope retains the old h5p component field for historical records, while current authoring rejects it.
